She raised more than half a million dollars for those affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti by donating one day’s worth of merchandise and concert ticket sales.

But this time, Lady Gaga is urging her fans to dig deep to raise money for the victims of the Japanese tsunami.

The new iPad 2 officially goes on sale Friday, March 11, and Apple has released an announcement with instructions on when and where consumers can buy the tablet.

Users can order the iPad 2 online via Apple.com starting at 1AM PT/4AM ET on Friday, March 11.

The “magical” tablet will be available at Apple stores throughout the U.S. (there are now 236 of them, Apple notes) starting at 5PM local time. The launch of iPad 2 has left many questioning the fate of the original iPad.

So what will become of the original Apple tablet?

Well it seems Apple is selling off what they’ve got left. Though it’s not prominently featured on the Apple site, the original iPad is still for sale.

It’s even got a nice $100 price drop, bringing the base price down to $399.

Facebook wunderkind Mark Zuckerberg has obtained a restraining order against a Californian man who he says has been stalking him, ktmfashion.com is reporting.

The 26-year-old billonaire filed legal papers claiming Pradeep Manukonda, 31, tried to “follow, surveil and contact Mr. Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety,” so much so he fears for his safety and that of his girlfriend Priscilla along with his sister.

Facebook security also “intercepted” Manukonda at Zuckerberg’s Palo Alto, California, home on January 24.

“Just as he (Mark) was about to walk up the front steps,” the court papers state.

facebook announced it will begin disclosing financial results by April of 2012, after a Goldman Sachs document revealed the company’s financials, showing a $355 million profit on $1.2 billion in revenue for the first nine months of 2010, the New York Times reports.

Goldman Sachs sent the document to potential investors which stated the social network’s plans to increase the number of shareholders above 500. This would trigger the need to report financials. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly been wary of an IPO, but investor interest in the company has been strong.
