Bargain high street stores

Ok, so you’ve got a really important party coming up and you know that your ex will also be there, so it is a MUST that you look irresistible. However, you almost maxed your credit card out last month, pay day isn’t for another 2 weeks and there isn’t anything in your wardrobe that everyone hasn’t seen you in already. Don’t worry, we can help!

Exclusive London presents ‘Fresh, funky bargains’, a guide to find the best fashion items at fantastic prices.

Tesco – An Exclusive London Favourite!

  Bargain with high stores

After storming into the clothing industry back in 1998 with their controversial discounted jeans success, Tesco’s clothing range has gone from strength to strength. With their Florence & Fred line launching in 2001 and their exclusive Cherokee range launching in 2002 (with the help of Naomi Campbell), it seems Tesco are giving other clothing retailers a run for their money.

There is also a new line to watch out for. Launched for Autumn/Winter 2006, Angels & Heroes has been developed by Tesco to fill a gap in the ever growing denim market - to provide every body shape with the perfect fit, a wide selection of styles, and most importantly a pair of

jeans that is totally unique at prices starting from just £25.
Tesco appears to have everything you might be looking for, from vest tops at around £2 to beautifully tailored blazers and suits at around £60. They have a great accessory line and male and female sections are equally good. Tesco might not have been your first choice for fashion items before, but if you are watching the pennies, you’ll regret not giving it a try.

  TK Maxx
  TK Maxx

TK Maxx is a high street store found all across the UK that offers designer clothing and accessories for up to 60% off the recommended retail prices. It’s fabulously affordable and in some instances very chic.
Unfortunately, with some people, TK Maxx has the reputation of being a grotty bargain basement store and the fashion/label snobs would never dream of going into such a shop. However, more fool them! The fashion team here at Exclusive London went to 3 TK Maxx stores in London to see what bargains we could pick up.
It appears that the bargains you can get your mitts on at TK

Maxx depends a lot on the store and the time you go. If you go when they’ve just had a big delivery of items, you could be walking away with the bargain of the century.
During our visits, we were in luck as the bargains and labels were flowing like milk and honey! We left with a fab Chloé top, a Miss Sixty dress and a great pair of denim cut-offs by Diesel – all at more than half off the original price! The men’s section of the stores were just as extensive and stylish.
Bare in mind that you need to have a good rummage to find that gem as there are rails and rails of items to look through.

  Primark
  Primark
Ok, so it’s been at the end of many jokes over the years and a lot of people still won’t shop there due to its previous reputation, however Primark has undergone some radical changes over the past few years and is now a store that has some great fashionable clothing at great prices. The store has everything, from underwear to outerwear.

The EL fashion team visited a Primark store in London and found that you could pick up an entire outfit which looked fresh and funky for under £20.

Primark are great at keeping up with the latest trends and if you do go in to have a look, you are bound to find something you'll like.
